Flat plans and Rationals
Front cover
This the layout for my front cover, I have decided to have a single dominant image at the centre of the cover. My reasoning for doing this is because it links to my target audience of a more mature age (16+) and therefore makes the magazine appear more serious. The positioning of the sell lines are to help advertise the magazine, teasing what will be inside and is to attract people to read my magazine. I have also added the date, issue number and the price of the magazine so that the readers have essential information and know these details.Contents page
For my contents page the layout I have decided on has the dominant image at the centre, with no sub images to keep in line with the more serious tone of the whole magazine. The image is also followed by a short section of text, to demonstrate what this specific section of the magazine as well as linking to the image. I have include multiple subheads on this page to section out certain areas for the magazine page and give the page more order and cohesion.Double spread page
On my double spread page I have decided to have a single dominant image taking up a whole page with the second page being an article. The single image again shows that the magazine holds a more serious tone. The second page of my double spread includes a pull quote to help grab the attention of the reader, demanding for them to read the whole article as it might interest them. There is also a hyperlink as a way to further advertise the magazine so that the audience can take a further interest int the magazine.
These are the flat plans for my music magazines. I plan to use these as guide lines for my actual pages. This means I already have an idea as to have I will be doing for my front cover, contents page and double spread page.

Double spread page feedback
This is the feedback for my double spread page, with common comments being fill in the empty space which is something i will look to do by possibly bulking up my main text. Another comment made was also to possibly add sub images; however this is something I am not looking to add to my double spread as a single dominat image makers the magazine appear more serious.
